Let the journey begin
Let the journey begin
In 2017 I was laid off from the Oil Field, the industry was not hiring and I had a family to support. I went on a mission trip to Honduras and re-centered. The question I wrestled with was as follows: What can I do to support my family and make an impact in my community, state, country, world?
I started building, I used my hands and talents to build a home for family in Honduras, then came back to Houston and continued building.
It is 2023, I am still building, I have been knocked down so many times I have lost count; yet at midnight I am given 1440 minutes, one more day, one more chance to make a difference.
I have stayed off of social media for a long time, maybe it was because of insecurity, I no longer had a full time job, no cool job title, and I was starting over. Well, I am ready to tell my story, for those that know me, this will be a good story, I have a propensity to be extreme. This is my first post, so be gentile, I have learned a lot over these six years.
Stay tuned for more.
